After an off day on Sunday, the New England Patriots return to the practice field this Monday morning for their final practice before heading to Philadelphia for joint practices with the Eagles. Practice is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM ET. Here are three things we’ll be looking out for:
1. The Patriots have been dinged up lately, but with an off day yesterday, it will be interesting to see if any players return to the field this morning. In particular, looking out for players such as Jermaine Cunningham, Ras-I Dowling, Michael Jenkins, and Marcus Cannon.
2. Will the intensity pick up today? The joint practices with the Eagles are sure to be played at a higher level, but with the Patriots taking it easy on Saturday and having yesterday off, will they up their workload this morning?
3. Defensive tackle depth will be something to continue to monitor. At this point, Vince Wilfork, Tommy Kelly, and Marcus Forston are the locks. But with the status surrounding Armond Armstead unclear, could a rookie free agent such as Joe Vellano or Cory Grissom step up and earn a spot?
