The New England Patriots and Philadelphia will hold their second of three joint practice sessions this morning at NovaCare Complex in Philadelphia. Practice has been moved up to 10:15 AM due to weather, with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick holding a 10 AM press conference. Here are a few things we’ll be on the look out for:
1. How intense will today’s session be? Things got heated in 11 on 11’s yesterday, and it would not surprise me to see the teams work on more situational work today (red zone, goal line, etc.).
2. Patriots defensive backs Alfonzo Dennard, Logan Ryan, and Tavon Wilson all struggled to contain the deep ball yesterday. As they continue to get reps against DeSean Jackson and Riley Cooper, is this an area in which they’ll see improvement day two?
3. We haven’t spent that much time focusing on the tight end battle to this point, but it has been one of the more interesting competitions thus far in camp. Zach Sudfeld had a bit of a coming out party yesterday, and I’m interested to see if he can perform at that level consistently.
