The New England Patriots scored a touchdown on their opening drive, and lead the New York Jets 10-3 after one quarter in their week two Thursday Night Football match-up.
The Patriots got off to a quick start - going six plays and 81 yards on their opening drive. Quarterback Tom Brady found rookie receiver Aaron Dobson for a 39 yard touchdown on his first career NFL snap. Dobson was lined up as an h-back, and snuck behind the Jets defense on a wheel route off a play action. Brady connected with him for the easy score.
The Patriots also tacked on a field goal following a Stephen Hill fumble that was recovered by Devin McCourty and returned to within the 10 yard line.
New York did have an answer - marching down the field for three points after a long Geno Smith to Santonio Holmes pass.
The Jets have the ball to begin the second quarter.
