The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week two NFL game, and while it doesn't caintain any major surprises, it does include a couple of notable names:
WR Danny Amendola
TE Rob Gronkowski
RB Leon Washington
DL Chris Jones
LB Steve Beauharnais
WR Matt Slater
OT Will Svitek
While many were hoping that Rob Gronkowski could make a week three return, week four now becomes the target date. Gronkowski was officially listed as questionable on the injury report, and was reportedly held out today due to his forearm rather than his back.
Danny Amendola will also miss today's game, as expected. That means the Patriots will once again be relying on thel ikes of Kenbrell Thompkins, Josh Boyce, and Aaron Dobson at receiver. It also means Julian Edelman will once again be the likely focal point of the offense.
One more quick thing to note: Brandon Bolden is set to make his 2013 debut today after missing the first two weeks. I'll be intrigued to see how he factors into the running back mix.
