The New England Patriots won't be playing on Wild Card Weekend thanks to their 12-4 record and #2 seed in the AFC. However, they have yet to determine their opponent for the divisional playoffs.
The two games the Patriots will be watching closely are the Kansas City Chiefs (#5) vs. Indianapolis Colts(#4) and the San Diego Chargers (#6) at the Cincinnati Bengals (#3). At 4:35 PM ET today, the Chiefs and the Colts will face off. Feel free to use this post as an open thread to discuss the game.
As the two seed, the Patriots will play the highest remaining seed to come out of the Wildcard Round. If the Bengals hold on and beat the Chargers tomorrow, the Patriots will play them. If the Chargers pull off the upset, the Patriots will play the winner of today's Chiefs vs. Colts game.
This will be a close game, but I'm going to give the Colts the edge, as they are at home, and are the hotter team heading into today. Greg's Prediction: Colts 23 Chiefs 20
