Tonight, the New England Patriots will play their second divisional match-up in a span of five days, with a Thursday Night Football showdown against the New York Jets.
The Patriots, 4-2, are coming off of an impressive offensive performance against the Buffalo Bills, in which quarterback Tom Brady threw four touchdowns in a 37-22 victory. The Jets meanwhile, sit at just 1-5 on the season. However, they have faced a brutal early season schedule, and they nearly pulled off a comeback against the Broncos on Sunday in a 31-17 loss.
Tonight's game will be the Patriots' first and only Thursday game of the 2014 NFL season. Tonight's telecast also has a twist from previous years: it will be broadcast on CBS as part of a new slate of primetime national television games.
