The Patriots need reinforcements that bring some fire to the team and, luckily, two are on the way. Cornerback Brandon Browner and wide receiver Brian Tyms are both returning from suspensions and are taking part in practice.
Browner plays an extremely physical style of coverage and will hopefully provide some energy to the defense that came out flat in Kansas City. He will likely step in over Logan Ryan and start opposite of Darrelle Revis. While the coaches haven't been taking advantage of the man coverage ability of the secondary, hopefully the return of Browner will force their hand.
Tyms is less likely to have an impact on the day-to-day game plan as he's more of a depth player on the roster. Still, he made headlines during the preseason for making electrifying plays. Perhaps he can push the ineffective, or benched, receivers ahead of him in the depth chart.
While both players are eligible to play in week 5, it's possible that the team will try and ease both back into the daily mix.
