Fantasy start / sit advice for the Patriots' week nine match-up against the Denver Broncos:
Start
Tom Brady, QB: Brady is as hot as any quarterback right now, including Peyton Manning. He's back to being a top 5 or 6 fantasy football quarterback.
Shane Vereen, RB: Vereen lost touches to Jonas Gray last week. However, if this game turns out to be a shootout, Vereen is going to see the majority of snaps and should get involved in the passing game.
Rob Gronkowski, TE: Duh.
Brandon LaFell, WR: LaFell might be Tom Brady's favorite target not-named Julian Edelman. Their chemistry has been awesome, and LaFell is now a strong WR3 with upside, even against a match-up with Chris Harris or Aqib Talib.
Julian Edelman, WR: He's moving closer to "sit" status, but is still plug and play WR3 even with the emergence of Brandon LaFell. He's better than he's been playing, and is overdue for a big game and touchdown.
Sit
Jonas Gray, RB: The weather conditions are favorable to the running game, but it's hard to trust Gray with the minimal amount of carries the Patriots have given running backs in their last few match-ups against Manning and the Broncos.
Tim Wright, TE: Wright is a TE2, but is a high risk play with his inconsistent usage. Last week offered a glimmer of hope, so we'll see if his role continues to increase.
Patriots D/ST: If you have the space to add another defense, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to sit the Patriots, going against the NFL's best offense.
