Halftime: Patriots Lead Broncos 27-7

New, comments

First half thoughts as the Patriots lead the Broncos 27-7 in week nine.

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

The New England Patriots have had an impressive start against the Denver Broncos and lead 27-7.

Defensively, the Patriots have allowed just one touchdown. They've stuffed the run, mixed up their coverages, and gotten after Peyton Manning. Rob Ninkovich has been a force, and has an interception that set up a Patriots touchdown as well.

Julian Edelman has been the star of the first half. He has a receiving touchdown and a punt return touchdown and has been Brady's most frequently targeted receiver.

The Patriots will receive the ball to begin the second half. As we know, this is far from over. No lead is ever safe from Peyton Manning.
