The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week 13 match-up against the Green Bay Packers:
Malcolm Butler, DB; Cameron Fleming, OL; Chandler Jones, DE; James White, RB; Jordan Devey, OL; Chris White, LB; Danny Aiken, LS
The big surprise here: long snapper Danny Aiken is out with a concussion. When the Patriots released Charley Hughlett from the practice squad this weekend, it was expected that Aiken would be good to go. That's not the case. With Aiken out, defensive end Rob Ninkovich will become the Patriots' long snapper. Ninkovich has practiced the role with the Patriots before, and snapped during his time at Purdue.
Chandler Jones also remains out with a hip injury, despite making the trip to Wisconsin. Jones was listed as questionable on the injury report, but was expected to remain out today. Dominique Easley does return to the line-up, so his presence should help along the defensive line.
