Patriots inactives vs. Dolphins: Dont'a Hightower and Chandler Jones are back

The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week 15 match-up against the Miami Dolphins.

Alfonzo Dennard, CB; Jordan Devey, OL; Cameron Fleming, OL; James White, RB; Chris White, LB; Dominique Easley, DE; Zach Moore, DE

They're baaaaaaack.

In news that serves as a mild surprise, the New England Patriots will return both defensive end Chandler Jones and linebacker Dont'a Hightower to action today.

Needless to say, this is huge news for the Patriots. Jones and Hightower are arguably the Patriots two best defenders after Darrelle Revis. We don't know what kind of role these two will play just yet, but it will likely be somewhat limited in nature. Jones could see time as a sub-package edge rusher, while Hightower may only see action on running downs. Jamie Collins could still be the communication leader.

The absence of Easley was previously announced. He may land on injured reserve. Zach Moore sits with Chandler Jones back. Malcolm Butler once again gets the nod over Alfonzo Dennard.
