Don't freak out?
Promise me, okay? You won't freak out?
Wide receiver Julian Edelman was listed on today's injury report with a concussion, which means it's fairly likely he won't suit up against the Jets. That's not to say that he's out, but with the way teams handle concussions, it's unlikely he'll dress.
Here's the full injury report:
Limited
LS Danny Aiken - Finger
CB Kyle Arrington - Hamstring
RB LeGarrette Blount - Shoulder
OG Dan Connolly - Ankle
WR Julian Edelman - Thigh/Concussion
OL Cameron Fleming - Ankle
LB Dont'a Hightower - Shoulder
DL Chandler Jones - Hip
WR Brandon LaFell - Shoulder
DE Rob Ninkovich - Heel
RB Shane Vereen - Ankle
LB Chris White - Ankle
Full
QB Tom Brady - Ankle
No real surprises, but there seems to be a chance for Danny Amendola or Brian Tymes to step up if Edelman misses extra time this week, and possibly even more Tim Wright. There's no need to risk the health of the Patriots top wide receiver this close to the end of the season.
