The NFL has announced their 2015 Pro Bowl rosters, and the New England Patriots have had five players selected:

Tom Brady, QB

Rob Gronkowski, TE

Stephen Gostkowski, K

Darrelle Revis, CB

Matthew Slater, ST

It is hard to argue with any of the Patriots five selections. Quarterback Tom Brady has 33 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He's led the Patriots to the #1 seed in the AFC, and has arguably been the league's best passer since week four.

Stephen Gostkowski is in a contract year, and is having perhaps his finest NFL season. He's connected on 32 of 34 field goals and is 12 of 13 from 40+.

Rob Gronkowski has rebounded from a torn ACL suffered in 2013 and is having his second best statistical season. He's back to being the best tight end in the NFL. He's caught 82 passes for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns this year.

Darrelle Revis arrived to the Patriots this offseason with huge expectations and has completely transformed the Patriots secondary. He's back to being the shutdown corner we all feared with the Jets.

Matthew Slater continues to be one of the league's premier coverage players on special teams. He has 15 special teams tackles this season.

As always, it is custom to discuss Pro Bowl snubs. Do you think the Patriots had any? The first two that come to mind for me are linebackers Dont'a Hightower and Jamie Collins. Hightower, you could argue, has been the league's most dominant linebacker this season. He's a likely All-Pro player, but does not appear on this roster. What are your thoughts?
