How do the Patriots Fill Aaron Dobson's Roster Spot?

The Patriots have an open roster spot and here's a breakdown of who might be asked to fill it.

I may have jumped the shark too quickly. It was definitely easy to link the placement of wide receiver Aaron Dobson on the injured reserve to the impending return of defensive tackle Sealver Siliga. ESPN's Mike Reiss takes a different slant and it's pretty clear that his observations hold weight- and they make a lot of sense.

Reiss believes that the Patriots will not be activating Siliga, but instead look to the practice squad to the fill open position. Since Julian Edelman, Brandon LaFell, Dont'a Hightower, and special teams linebacker Chris White are all nicked up or injured, Reiss points to both Josh Boyce and Deontae Skinner as likely choices to take the open spot.

That honestly makes a ton of sense. Siliga still has two more weeks before he has to be activated, and in that time frame the injuries to Edelman, LaFell, and Hightower should be resolved- so at that point, whoever is promoted this week can likely be released and put back on the practice squad to make space for Siliga.

Go read the article to see some of the options. Who do you think the Patriots should promote? Or do you think Siliga still makes the most sense?
