The New England Patriots are trailing the San Diego after 30 minutes of football in week 14.
New England got off to a slow start, trailing 14-3 early. Their first two scoring drives stalled in the red zone. Brandon LaFell had a fumble that was returned for a score. The Chargers used pick plays to perfection to move the ball effectively.
The Patriots answered back near the end of the first half with Tom Brady finding Rob Gronkowski on a back shoulder throw for a touchdown. However, the Patriots got the ball with less than two minutes left with another chance to score. Brady badly underthrew Gronkowski near the end zone, and the throw was intercepted by Mant'i Teo. As a result, the Patriots trail 14-13 at half.
