2014 NFL Free Agency Rumors: Open Thread

The action in free agency has slowed down, but there's still movement. Join in and talk about what's happening.

Here's a breakdown of everything that's been going on this week:

Patriots offer three year deal to Julian Edelman; he rejects and tests the open market. No one wants him. He signs back with New England on an undisclosed deal.

Cornerback Aqib Talib doesn't have any standing offers, but once Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie turns down the Broncos offer, John Elway hurries to sign Talib to a record breaking deal.

The Buccaneers release Darrelle Revis, who is immediately linked to New England.The Patriots sign him to a one year deal, with the open expectation of a future extension. Revis' impact on defense is tremendous.

Panthers wide receiver Brandon LaFell visits the Patriots. He signs after Emmanuel Sanders joins the Broncos. LaFell has serious potential.

Nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga is released by the Patriots, quickly followed by Vince Wilfork asking for his own release. Fellow defensive tackle Tommy Kelly restructures to stick around. A future without Wilfork opens doors in free agency.

Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner visits with the Patriots, with reports surfacing of a two year deal. leading to Browner Watch 2014; He finally is official on a three year deal.

The Patriots aren't spending money for a top free agent defensive end, but there are plenty still available.
