How Would You Grade the Patriots Free Agency?

The dust is settling and the team is getting into draft mode. The next wave of free agency likely won't take place until after the draft. How do you think the Patriots did in the first wave?

Rob Foldy-USA TODAY Sports

There are three main waves of free agency:

1) The initial wave where all the priority players are offered tremendous wads of cash and when the older veterans or injured players sign one year deals to flesh out rosters.

2) After the draft and when camp starts, teams will start cycling through players to try and position themselves with the best talent to start fine-tuning the roster.

3) During the pre-season, when teams start making final cuts, some of the more well-regarded players will find themselves on new teams to start the season. Older veterans will also start signing as they were able to skip training camp.

We have just finished the first wave, which is clearly the most exciting and where players that cause teams to win or lose are found.

How do you think the Patriots fared?
