Roy Finch Could Become a New Patriots Fan Favorite.

He's 5' 6" 177 lbs of pure dynamite.

Let's look at the numbers, after all that's what people do this time of year:

5' 6"  177 lbs

4.50s 40 time (1.65s 10 yd, 2.64s 20 yd)

7.07s 3-cone

33.5" vertical

9.5' broad jump

22 reps of 225 lbs.

The biggest thing that sticks out is his size:  TOO SMALL FOR THE NFL.   Next applicant, please.

When you look at his senior year, the stats also aren't terribly impressive:

59 attempts for 347 yards.  5.9 YPC   Long of 48.  0 TD

12 receptions for 91 yards.  7.6 YPC  Long of 29.  2 TD

There's just no way this guy makes it onto a roster, let alone sees any playing time.

Then you see him run:

And you see him run some more:

And pretty soon you're pulling for the little guy.  The Danny Woodhead turned Hulk, and hoping he'll have a shot at an NFL roster.

Thanks to kiaanx and SchubeTube that brought Roy Finch to my attention.  Every year I root for an undrafted to make the roster.  I think I just found my guy.
