2014 NFL Draft Results: Patriots Trade Back with Jaguars

The New England Patriots held the 93rd pick in the third round of the 2014 draft, but traded back with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The New England Patriots held the 93rd pick in the third round of the 2014 draft, but traded back with the Jacksonville Jaguars.  In exchange for the 93rd pick, the Patriots received the Jaguars' 4th and 6th round selections (105 and 178).

Perhaps the Patriots didn't see anyone they liked on the board, but this trade doesn't seem like great value for the team.  According to the draft trade value chart, if that still means anything, the Patriots were on the wrong side of this trade by 23.8 points.  The trade does set up the team with three fourth round picks, three sixth round picks, and a seventh round pick tomorrow.
