Patriots Training Camp Open Thread: Practice 6

Open thread and preview for the sixth practice of Patriots training camp.

Stew Milne-USA TODAY Sports

This morning, the New England Patriots will take the field for their sixth practice of training camp after an intense full-pads session yesterday.  This morning's session begins at 9:45 AM and is open to the public. For more information on attending the session, you can call the Patriots' training camp hotline at 508-549-0001.

Roster Update:

The Patriots activated cornerback Alfonzo Dennard off of the PUP list yesterday, allowing him to join a cornerback competition that includes Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner, Kyle Arrington, and Logan Ryan.

What to Watch:

With Tommy Kelly returning to full pads yesterday, we'll continue to monitor the defensive line rotation, where the Patriots have more healthy bodies than they've had, especially along the interior, than they've had all offseason.

Bryan Stork went down with an undisclosed injury at practice yesterday, which altered the picture a bit on the interior offensive line.  He could return today, but an extended absence could give Ryan Wendell the stranglehold on the center spot.  Marcus Cannon also saw some time at right guard yesterday, so we should see if that's a trend that continues today.  In my opinion, Cannon's skillset is best utilized at the right guard position.

Feel free to keep it here to discuss the first day of Patriots training camp!
