Today marks the first day of joint practices between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. Bill Belichick has made a point of having referees at the camp to show players and coaches how calls will be upheld during the season. He has asked for thorough explanations for the violating players as the refs will be throwing flags throughout practice.
This should mark the first round of practices for Aaron Dobson and Dominique Easley, while Rob Gronkowski continues on his path of rehabilitation; perhaps he'll engage in some contact at some point (although I wouldn't hold my breath).
Some major focus points will be the development of the offensive interior line as Dan Connolly looks to grab a stranglehold on the starting center role, while the young players look to continue their development and vie for a roster spot.
Let's use this open thread to share whatever news we hear coming from camp.
