After three days of joint practices, the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off tonight at Gillette Stadium in the Patriots' preseason home opener.
Tonight's game will certainly be one to watch for Patriots fans, as most of their starters are expected to make their preseason debuts. The group of veterans likely to play tonight include quarterback Tom Brady and cornerback Darrelle Revis, amongst others.
The Eagles certainly seemed to have closed the gap in talent considerably to the Patriots from where they were last game. Therefore, tonight's game, even with the starters probably only playing a quarter or so, will be a good barometer for seeing where this team is at.
