Patriots vs. Raiders: Game Thread #2

New, comments

Second half thread and first half thoughts as the Patriots lead the Raiders 10-3.

Jim Rogash

The New England Patriots hold a slim 10-3 lead over the Oakland Raiders at half time.

The Patriots have been okay defensively. The pass rush hasn't exactly been there, and they've been giving up a lot of short throws. However, they're limiting big plays, and winning at the line of scrimmage in the running game.

On offense, it's been a different story. Tom Brady has been erratic, and hasn't been able to consistently find any receivers besides Rob Gronkowski or Julian Edelman. He does have a touchdown pass to Gronkowski, but poor clock management at the end of the first half cost the Patriots four points.
