Patriots Center Bryan Stork Misses Practice; Outlook Not Good

The Patriots are missing their starting center for the second straight practice.

The Patriots will likely be without Bryan Stork this Sunday against the Colts. Their rookie center has missed the second straight practice, and has been the only player not to take the field over the past two days. The true determination of Stork's availability will come tomorrow; if Stork misses a Friday practice, he won't play.

Stork has been great this year and looks to be a keeper for the future. In his place, the Patriots will look to slide Ryan Wendell from right guard to center, while Josh Kline will assume the right guard position.

A positive to take away is that Stork has not yet been placed on the injured reserve; if he were truly out for the season, the Patriots would have likely made a move to account for his status. Look for the Patriots to use both Marcus Cannon and Cameron Fleming to provide additional protection on the offensive line.
