Let's have some good news as we head into the Super Bowl:
Patriots Injury Report Update: Bryan Stork has been upgraded to "probable" for tomorrow's game. #SB49
— New England Patriots (@Patriots) January 31, 2015
This is probably the best news the Patriots could have asked for. Bryan Stork is such an important part of the New England offense and having him back, after he was taken out halfway through the Divisional Round against the Ravens, will truly bolster the offensive line. Stork has had three weeks to rest.
While Josh Kline played very well at right guard against the Colts, Stork remains the best pass blocking interior lineman on the roster. Introducing Stork back into the line-up also allows Ryan Wendell, the team's best run blocker, to move back to right guard. With the Seahawks best defensive lineman, Michael Bennett, lining up across from Wendell, this will allow the Patriots their best chance to run the ball against the stingy Seahawks defense.
The Patriots have done everything they can to be as healthy as possible for this week. Time will tell if it's enough.
