I'm going to be honest, I think the Patriots are going to win this game in a big way. I'm also really scared to pick any Patriots player from a fantasy perspective.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski has scored 7 touchdowns in his past four games against the Colts. Wide receiver Julian Edelman has averaged 92 yards per game in his past three games. Running back Dion Lewis is averaging 105 yards per game this season and has scored in three straight games. Quarterback Tom Brady is playing at an insane level.
But I'm not going to act like I have the faintest idea of which player will be successful on Sunday. There's a chance Brady could throw for five touchdowns. There's just as good of a chance that running back LeGarrette Blount will jump off the bench and score four as a goal line vulture. Maybe Gronkowski won't see too many yards. Maybe Edelman gets into the end zone.
The Patriots are going to throw everything at the Colts, so maybe this is a case of rising tides raising all ships. Everyone is in play. But don't be surprised if Keshawn Martin or Michael Williams puts up 40 points on the day.
As for the Colts? Buy shares of Frank Gore. I have a gut feeling that the Patriots are going to try and entice the Colts to run the ball to prevent Indianapolis from airing out the pass where their skill players match up well against a dinged up Patriots defensive back seven.
