According to multiple reports from various respected reporters like ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Indianapolis Colts are expected to play quarterback Andrew Luck and the New England Patriots are expected to play running back Dion Lewis.
The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe was the first to report that the Patriots were anticipating Lewis' availability for Sunday night. Schefter adds that the Patriots are going to make him a game day decision with a pregame work out, while Rapoport states that Lewis is expected to play. If Lewis is unavailable to play, James White will be a crucial member of the game plan.
Luck's activity isn't much of a surprise, although he has unquestionably been outplayed by 40-year old Matt Hasselbeck. Luck was injured early in the season and labored through two more terrible outings before the Colts forced him to sit out and heal. The quarterback is a turnover machine and you can be certain that the Patriots will quickly test whether or not Luck is mentally comfortable with his arm strength and decision making.
