New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady ranked 6th on the week in fantasy, behind a couple of surprise players in former back-up Brian Hoyer and Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles. Colts quarterback Andrew Luck took advantage of the Patriots prevent defense to rank 2nd on the week with 141 yards and a touchdown coming after New England held a two score lead with roughly five minutes left in the game. Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford won the week against a terrible Bears defense.

Running back LeGarrette Blount ranked 4th on the week with 104 total yards and two touchdowns. It was a fairly low key week for running backs as Colts running back Frank Gore ranked 18th with 94 yards from scrimmage and no scores. Blount was one of five running backs with two scores on the week. Dion Lewis was not a valuable play, coming in at 36th on the week due to his abdominal issues.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman ranked 22nd on the week with 52 total yards and a touchdown. His drops really affected his performance. In 21st was teammate Danny Amendola with 105 yards on the day. Colts teammates T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief ranked 17th and 18th on the day with 74 yards and and 69 yards on the day, respectively, and a touchdown apiece.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski ranked 8th on the day with just three receptions, 50 yards, and a touchdown. Old friend Ben Watson won the week, collecting 10 receptions for 127 yards and a touchdown for the New Orleans Saints. Scott Chandler is still not a viable fantasy play, even though he did outscore both Colts tight ends, Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen.
