The New England Patriots have released their Wednesday Injury Report and have named three players as OUT for the Thursday Night match-up against the Miami Dolphins.
Out:
OL Marcus Cannon - Toe (DNP) - The Patriots will be short handed with just Sebastian Vollmer and Cameron Fleming at tackle. Tight end Michael Williams is likely the emergency third tackle.
LB Rufus Johnson - Illness (DNP) - Johnson has been placed on the Non-Football Injury reserve list, ending his season.
DE Jabaal Sheard - Ankle (DNP) - Trey Flowers and Geneo Grissom will take on some of the reserve role, but Chandler Jones and Rob Ninkovich are likely to play 100% of the snaps.
Questionable:
RB Brandon Bolden - Hamstring (LP) - Bolden is a core four special teamer and will play if available.
RB Dion Lewis - Abdomen (LP) - Lewis is expected to be a game time decision.
WR Keshawn Martin - Hamstring (LP) - Martin will also be a game time decision, but he's the 4th or 5th wide receiver on the depth chart, along side Aaron Dobson.
G Shaq Mason - Knee (LP) - The Patriots would love to have their starting left guard available, but Josh Kline will be the top back-up if needed.
Probable:
DL Trey Flowers - Knee/Shoulder (FP)
LB Dont'a Hightower - Ribs (FP)
G Josh Kline - Shoulder (FP)
