Patriots inactives vs: Dolphins: Patriots without WR Martin, G Mason

The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week eight match-up against the Miami Dolphins.

The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week eight Thursday Night Football match-up against the Miami Dolphins:

Jabaal Sheard, DE

Tavon Wilson, S

Shaq Mason, OG

Dewey McDonald, DB

Keshawn Martin, WR

Trey Flowers, DE

Marcus Cannon, OL

The Patriots previously announced that Jabaal Sheard and Marcus Cannon would miss this game. Despite Sheard being inactive and Rufus Johnson headed to the non-football illness list, rookie Trey Flowers continues to be a healthy scratch.

Recently claimed safety Dewey McDonald is a healthy scratch, which is not a major surprise.

As expected, running back Dion Lewis, who was listed as questionable on the injury report, will play. Brandon Bolden also returns to action after missing last week's game against the Jets.

The two big questionable players the Patriots will be without: Shaq Mason and Keshawn Martin. Aaron Dobson is active again in Martin's absence. Meanwhile, with Shaq Mason out for the game, the trio of Josh Kline, David Andrews, and Tre Jackson could go wire to wire. Ryan Wendell could also work into the mix.
