Pats Pulpit Podcast Episode 011: The AFC Ain't Lookin' Too Good

The rest of the AFC struggled while the Patriots were taking the week off.

David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

The New England Patriots are one of the last remaining undefeated teams in the NFL, but the competition in the AFC is fairly evident. After dismantling the Jaguars before the bye, it was evident that the Patriots were in a class of their own.

The Broncos somehow managed to move to 4-0 on the back of their defense. The Bengals are 4-0, too, but everyone is waiting for their first prime time performance (and they'll be facing terrible Browns, Texans, and 49ers teams in prime time before a week 16 prime time game against the Broncos).

The Colts put in another terrible performance. The Bills fell flat on their face. The Dolphins have thrown in the towel.

Are the Jets a top four team in the AFC? That's both a) entirely possible; b) an indictment on the state of the AFC.

We'll be breaking down the Cowboys on our Wednesday podcast as we gear up for the rest of the season.
