The Patriots have removed defensive tackle Dominique Easley, linebacker Dont'a Hightower, and cornerback Logan Ryan from their latest injury report, shrinking the list to a manageable three players.
Guard Ryan Wendell was a full participant, but what listed due to the illness that forced him to miss the past two weeks of practice.
Cornerback Tarell Brown was a limited participant due to a foot injury. Brown was placed on the injured reserve after the 2014 season with a foot injury, so this is worth monitoring. Brown wasn't listed on the injury report against the Jaguars, but was held out of the game and iced on the sideline. Logan Ryan stepped into the starting role, while Bradley Fletcher was a healthy scratch.
Defensive end Trey Flowers was also a limited participant due to a knee injury, while a shoulder injury was added to the register. Flowers is likely not going to play until he's fully healthy as defensive end Rufus Johnson and fellow rookie Geneo Grissom provide more special teams value.
The Cowboys were missing wide receivers Dez Bryant (foot) and Brice Butler (hamstring), tight end James Hanna (ankle), defensive end Randy Gregory (ankle), and Sean Lee (concussion). Linebacker Andrew Gachkar (foot) and defensive end Ryan Russell (groin) were full participants.
Bryant isn't going to play and Lee is the team's top linebacker. If Lee remains on the injury report on Thursday, his ability to play on Sunday will be up in the air.
