Patriots DE Chandler Jones mic’d up is the best video you’ll watch this week

NFL Films mic'd up Patriots DE Chandler Jones in week nine, and the outcome was fantastic.

Stew Milne-USA TODAY Sports

Last week, NFL Films mic'd up New England Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones in the team's win against the Washington Redskins.

The video, simply put, was awesome. We can't embed it here, but head over to NFL.com to catch the full thing. Some of the highlights:

Chandler and Gronk's hilarious back-and-forth during pre-game warm-ups

Bill Belichick coaching Chandler Jones to block the edge instead of the inside rusher in field goal protection

Chandler saying he sounds "like a groupie" when cheering on Gronk

Chandler's "let's goo Tommy Boy!" chants from the sidelines

As someone who has been following Chandler since he first arrived at Syracuse (the same time I arrived on campus!), it's great to see Chandler get the attention he has this season. He's definitely a goofy guy, but you can really see the passion he has for the game. It's really paid off this season, as Jones has had a break-out campaign not just as the league's sack leader, but as a greatly improved and disciplined edge defender and team leader.
