On Friday, the New England Patriots have already declared four players out for today's game agaisnt the New York Giants due to injury (or illness). Now, the team has added three more players to its inactives list.
Here, via the Patriots' offical Twitter account, is the full list:
OT Marcus Cannon
LB Jamie Collins
DE Trey Flowers
OG Tre' Jackson
WR Keshawn Martin
OT Sebastian Vollmer
SS Tavon Wilson
Cannon (toe), Collins (illness), Jackson (knee) and Vollmer (concussion) are the four players, who have already been declared out two days ago. Martin will also miss his fourth straight game after being listed on the injury report with a hamstring injury. Flowers and Wilson, on the other hand, are healthy scratches.
A positive is the return of Jabaal Sheard. The defensive end has missed the Patriots' last three games after injuring his ankle against the Indianapolis Colts in week 6. Recently promoted offensive tackle Chris Barker will also be active and likely be the team's lone reserve along the offensive line.
The Giants have declared the following players inactive for today's game (also via the Patriots' Twitter):
