Julian Edelman Injury Update: Leaves game with foot injury

Patriots receiver Julian Edelman has left the game against the New York Giants with a foot injury.

The New England Patriots have had another one of their top offensive weapons go down with injury. Wide receiver Julian Edelman injured his left foot on the final play of the first quater of the Patriots' week ten game against the New York Giants.

Edelman was able to limp to the sideline under his own power, and immediately had his left foot treated. Tom Brady would take a seat next to Edelman after the team's drive, but Edelman would soon go to the locker room.

The Patriots have officially labeled Edelman as questionable to return to the game with a foot injury. We will have more updates as they become available. After losing Dion Lewis to a torn ACL last week, the Patriots cannot afford to lose any more of their key playmakers on offense.

Captain and special teams ace Matthew Slater also appeared to injure his arm in the first quarter of the game. However, after receiving some medical attention, he was able to return to the game.

Update: Edelman has been downgraded to out.
