The Patriots and Bills have announced their inactives for Monday Night Football.
Patriots:
Guard Tre Jackson
Defensive tackle Sealver Siliga
Defensive lineman Trey Flowers
Linebacker Jamie Collins
Cornerback Justin Coleman
Wide receiver Keshawn Martin
Wide receiver Julian Edelman
Jackson, Collins, Coleman, and Edelman aren't surprises due to their injuries, while Flowers is receiving a redshirt season. Collins will likely be replaced by Jonathan Freeny or Jerod Mayo, while Rashaan Melvin is now the third and only depth option at cornerback. It's possible that the Patriots will use three safeties and that Devin McCourty could step up as needed.
Martin's absence means that Aaron Dobson or rookie Chris Harper will be the third receiver up in this match-up, and it's very possible that the Patriots will use multiple-tight end sets to compensate.
Siliga is an interesting note because he's a healthy scratch as one of the team's top run defenders against a run heavy team.
This signifies the return of starting tackles Sebastian Vollmer and Marcus Cannon.
Bills:
Quarterback Josh Johnson
Running back Dan Herron
Linebacker Randell Johnson
Guard Gabe Ikard
Tackle Cyrus Kouandijo
Defensive tackle Kyle Williams
Defensive tackle Stefan Charles
Buffalo is thin at defensive tackle and it's possible that the Patriots could attack up the middle with the run game.
