The New England Patriots' game against the Denver Broncos is getting closer and the team's injury report is getting shorter - at least a little. The team is still far from full strength, though, as a look at the latest edition of the practice participation list shows.
Via patriots.com, here is today's report:
CB Justin Coleman (Hand): DNP
LB Jamie Collins (Illness): DNP
WR Aaron Dobson (Ankle): DNP
WR Julian Edelman (Foot): DNP
WR Danny Amendola (Knee): LP
DT Alan Branch (Elbow): LP
OT Marcus Cannon (Toe): LP
OG Tre' Jackson (Knee): LP
DE Chandler Jones (Abdomen): LP
WR Keshawn Martin (Hamstring): LP
OG Shaq Mason (Knee): LP
TE Michael Williams (Knee): LP
WR Matthew Slater (Not Injury Related): FP
OT Sebastian Vollmer (Concussion): FP
Matthew Slater, who missed yesterday's session due to the birth of his child, returned as a full participant, as did Sebastian Vollmer, who is now officially no longer on concussion-watch. A third player will also come off the list soon: wide receiver Aaron Dobson, whose season ended today when the Patriots placed him on injured reserve.
Other than those three players, only one change has happened from yesterday to today. Danny Amendola returned to practice as a limited participant. Given that Dobson's season is over, him practicing is a much needed boost to the Patriots' otherwise slim receiving corps.
