The (10-0-0) New England Patriots will travel to face the (8-2-0) Denver Broncos.
Since 2001, the Patriots have a league-best 86-22 record (.796) after Thanksgiving, which is stellar since that includes a few weeks where the starters didn't really play. New England also holds a 5-1 record against the Broncos over the past five seasons, scoring 30+ points in every victory and 40+ points in three of them.
This will be the 50th meeting between the two teams, with the Broncos holding a 28-21 edge in the series. The Patriots are 9-19 in Denver.
The Broncos field the number one defense by yards allowed and the number two defense by points allowed. The Patriots rank first in points allowed and second in points scored, so this should be a defensive battle.
Denver cornerback Aqib Talib revitalized his career in New England, while Bill Belichick is a former Broncos special teams and defensive assistant. Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is the former head coach of the Broncos and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga spent time in Denver.
Bill Belichick will be trying for a record-tying 13th season with 11+ victories on Sunday night.
