Patriots Declare Danny Amendola, Jamie Collins, Michael Williams OUT; Elevate Asante Cleveland, Darius Fleming from Practice Squad

The New England Patriots have already started to determine their active players for Sunday Night against the Broncos.

The New England Patriots have named wide receivers Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman, tight end Michael Williams, linebacker Jamie Collins, and cornerback Justin Coleman OUT for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.

The Patriots have also elevated tight end Asante Cleveland and linebacker Darius Fleming from the practice squad and have released safety Dewey McDonald. The Patriots had released linebacker Eric Martin to add McDonald earlier this week.

Wide receiver Keshawn Martin made the trip to Denver and, according to NESN's Doug Kyed, has practiced with an expanded role in the offense. Martin will likely step into the Z/Slot role vacated by Edelman and Amendola.

Only two more players will have to be made inactive and it's likely that guard Tre Jackson will be one of them as he continues to recover from his knee injury. The final inactive will likely be rookie defensive end Trey Flowers, who has been a scratch in all but one of the games (Jets) this season.
