The New England Patriots are slowly but steadily getting healthier. While the team will probably play it safe against the Houston Texans and not rush anyone back, it is still on the right path, injury-wise.

Today's injury report reflects this (via patriots.com):

WR Julian Edelman (Foot): DNP

WR Danny Amendola (Knee): LP

TE Scott Chandler (Knee): LP

SS Patrick Chung (Foot): LP

CB Justin Coleman (Hand): LP

TE Rob Gronkowski (Knee): LP

LB Dont'a Hightower (Knee): LP

OG Josh Kline (Shoulder): LP

FS Devin McCourty (Shoulder): LP

WR Matthew Slater (Stinger): LP

OT Marcus Cannon (Toe): FP

DE Chandler Jones (Abdomen): FP

TE Michael Williams (Knee): FP

Today's report differs from yesterday's version at only two positons. The changes are notable, though, as two starters returned today: tight end Rob Gronkowski and safety Patrick Chung both practiced in limited capacity. Their respective statuses for Sunday's game are still up in the air but it is encouraging to see both players back on the practice fields.

Other than that, no player's practice status has changed from yesterday.

Also via patriots.com, here is the Texans' injury report:

DE J.J. Watt (Groin/Hand): DNP

OT Derek Newton (Elbow/Knee): LP

WR Cecil Shorts III (Hamstring): LP

RB Alfred Blue (Back): FP

OG Brandon Brooks (Illness): FP

OT Duane Brown (Knee): FP

LB Max Bullough (Shoulder): FP

LB Jadeveon Clowney (Hamstring): FP

DT Christian Covington (Knee): FP

CB Kareem Jackson (Ankle): FP

CB Charles James (Calf): FP

OC Ben Jones (Hip): FP

CB Johnathan Joseph (Knee): FP

LB Whitney Mercilus (Back): FP

RB Chris Polk (Knee): FP

The Texans' report has more changes than the Patriots'. Linebacker Jadeveon Clowney and cornerback Jonathan Joseph were both upgraded to full participation today, while wide receiver Cecil Shorts was added to the list with a hamstring issue - he was limited.

The biggest news, however, is the absence of star defensive end J.J. Watt. According to him, he broke his hand in practice last week and because of the injury missed today's session. He is expected to play on Sunday, though.
