The (10-2-0) New England Patriots will travel to face the (6-6-0) Houston Texans.

The Patriots are trying to avoid losing three-straight for the first time since 2002. Head coach Bill Belichick is one win away from tying Don Shula for the most career 11+ victory seasons in NFL history.

The Patriots own a 4-1 record against the Texans, with the lone blemish coming at the end of the 2009 season when New England rested their starters. Who was the quarterback that came on for Tom Brady in 2009? Mr. Brian Hoyer, the current starting quarterback for the Texans.

Hoyer joins former Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork as ex-Patriots on the Texans. Houston also features multiple coaches that spent time in New England, with head coach Bill O'Brien (former offensive coordinator), offensive coordinator George Godsey (former tight ends coach), defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel (same position), linebackers coach Mike Vrabel (former linebacker), and defensive assistant Anthony Pleasant (former defensive lineman).

The Patriots acquired wide receiver Keshawn Martin from the Texans earlier in the season, and Martin led Patriots receivers in snaps this past week.
