The New England Patriots have been lethargic the entire second half as injuries continue to mount. Cornerback Malcolm Butler has been playing well and had an interception nullified thanks to a weird holding penalty against new cornerback Leonard Johnson.
The Patriots offense has been content to try and run down the clock and throw little dump offs, while the defense has been focusing on forcing turnovers and stripping the ball instead of actually making the tackle.
Well, Butler is the Super Bowl hero for a reason and he wanted to energize the team with a big play:
The Patriots lead 27-10 with eight minutes left in the half.
