Honorable Mentions: Running back Joey Iosefa was a ton of fun to watch in his first game on the active roster, serving as both a running back and a fullback. His versatility and strength was refreshing. Cornerback Malcolm Butler was shutdown for most of the game and had an interception in the end zone.
Third Star: Linebacker Jamie Collins sealed the win with a huge interception in the fourth quarter, but he flashed his versatility for most of the game, collecting a sack, a quarterback hit, a tackle for loss, and the interception to go with 12 tackles.
Second Star: Running back James White collected eight touches for 77 yards and a touchdown and was the only player that quarterback Tom Brady could trust the entire game. White had an additional 70-yard reception called back for a terribly officiated "offensive pass interference" call that was completely within the rule book.
First Star: Defensive end Chandler Jones had his best game after his abdominal injury with two sacks, including one strip sack recovered for a huge touchdown. Jones added an additional tackle for loss and quarterback hit.
