The (12-2-0) New England Patriots will travel to face the (9-5-0) New York Jets.
A victory will clinch Homefield Advantage for the Patriots for the sixth time in franchise history. Four of the prior five times led to a New England Super Bowl appearance (2003, 2007, 2011, 2014). The other led to a first round disaster against the Jets in 2010.
This is the second time the Patriots will face the Jets this year, after winning 30-23 in week 7. Quarterback Tom Brady threw 54 passes to extend his NFL record 23 games with 50+ attempts. He currently has 24 games and a 16-8 record. Brady is the only quarterback with a winning record in 10+ games of 50+ attempts.
The Jets feature former Patriots great CB Darrelle Revis and RB Stevan Ridley. Revis is most known for winning a Super Bowl with the Patriots. Former Patriots defensive coach Pepper Johnson serves the same role for the Jets. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was a part of the Jets franchise prior to becoming the Patriots head coach.
Oh, and did you know that Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard?!
