The 12-2 New England Patriots have traveled to New York's MetLife Stadium today to take on the 9-5 New York Jets. The visiting Patriots try to sweep their AFC East rivals for the second year in the row while also securing the conference's number one seed – and homefield advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
However, the team will have to do so without some key contributors. Here is today's list of those, who won't dress against the Jets:
WR Danny Amendola
SS Patrick Chung
WR Julian Edelman
LB Jonathan Freeny
CB Troy Hill
OG Josh Kline
FS Devin McCourty
Amendola and Edelman missing the contest puts more pressure on a relatively unproven wide receiver corps consisting of Brandon LaFell, Keshawn Martin and recently promoted Chris Harper. Furthermore, the return of Scott Chandler could also indicate that we might see some more multiple tight end sets today.
More pressure is also put on safeties Duron Harmon, Jordan Richards, Tavon Wilson and Nate Ebner. The quartet has to step up during the absences of starters Devin McCourty and Patrick Chung – as does the front seven, which received a boost today due to the return of linebacker Dont'a Hightower.

The Jets' inactive players for today are as follows:
QB Bryce Petty
CB Dee Milliner
FS Dion Bailey
LB Taiwan Jones
OT Dakota Dozier
OG Ben Ijalana
LB Josh Martin
