Even though there is only one game left in the 2015 regular season, the New England Patriots continue to work on their 53-man roster. Today, the team has made some more moves. According to the Providence Journal's Mark Daniels, the Patriots have re-signed defensive tackle Ishmaa'ily Kitchen. In a corresponding move, the team has released cornerback Troy Hill.
The 27-year old Kitchen was originally signed by the Patriots on December 15, but was released six days later without having played a game with the team. Prior to joining New England, the former Kent State Golden Flash has had a three-year stint with the Cleveland Browns and played one game with the Detroit Lions this season. Now, Kitchen is back in Foxboro.
To make room for the defensive tackle, the Patriots have released rookie cornerback Troy Hill. The 24-year old was claimed off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals on December 25. However, he was inactive last Sunday against the New York Jets and has now been let go by the Patriots.
