The year 2015 is almost over - as is the NFL's regular season. But before all that, it is time for the New England Patriots' second injury report of the week, which, compared to yesterday's, has seen a few changes.
That being said, here is New England's last injury report of the year 2015:
CB Justin Coleman (Concussion): DNP
OT Sebastian Vollmer (Ankle): DNP
WR Danny Amendola (Knee): LP
TE Scott Chandler (Knee): LP
SS Patrick Chung (Foot): LP
WR Julian Edelman (Foot): LP
LB Jonathan Freeny (Hand): LP
LB Dont'a Hightower (Knee): LP
DE Chandler Jones (Abdomen/Toe): LP
OG Josh Kline (Shoulder): LP
WR Brandon LaFell (Foot): LP
FS Devin McCourty (Ankle): LP
DE Rob Ninkovich (Shin): LP
OT LaAdrian Waddle (Shoulder): LP
While Sebastian Vollmer and Justin Coleman missed their second consecutive practice session, a pair of defenders has returned today: defensive end Rob Ninkovich and linebacker Jonathan Freeny. Their availabity for Sunday is still up in the air but seeing them return to the field is definitely a good sign for their availability during the playoffs.
Upgrading Ninkovich and Freeny was not the only change to the injury report. After being listed as a full participant yesterday, Pro Bowl defensive end Chandler Jones was limited today because of a toe injury he apparently suffered during today's session.
