New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung has experienced a rebirth in his second stint on the squad, quickly becoming an indispensable member of the team.
Over this season, he's been asked to shut down an array of tight ends and he's proven up to every task- he was even asked to cover Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton and Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas and he exceeded every expectation.
As Chung continues to thrive, he's getting engaged in the New England community, so I thought I'd pass this opportunity to those in the area.
Chung is hosting an Open Mic Karaoke fundraiser for the second straight year and it's hoping to build off of the success of the first year. Last year's event raised over $60,000 for Chung Changing Lives, the safety's foundation aiming to improve childhood education. Players like Jerod Mayo and Chandler Jones, as well as team owner Robert Kraft, were in attendance, and this year is aiming to bring in over a dozen members of the team.
Always willing to support a good cause.
