The initial wave of free agency frenzy has died down a little bit. However, this does not mean that there are no longer any options available for the New England Patriots, who have been relatively busy yesterday.
The second day of free agency started with an in-house move as the team re-signed wide receiver Brian Tyms.
The Patriots followed this transaction by bringing in some outside reenforcements: New England signed free agent wide receiver/special teamer Kevin Dorsey as well as defensive edge player Jabaal Sheard. The Patriots' fourth and last move yesterday was signing Chimdi Chekwa, who projects as both a cornerback and a special teamer.
It remains to be seen if today will be as busy a day for the Patriots as yesterday. The team might still be in a market for defensive tackles (like Nick Fairley or Terrance Knighton), running backs or wide receivers, though.
There are still a lot of solid players out there, waiting to be signed. We'll be watching in the comments!
