1. Go Go Gadget Gronk
This was a terrible idea for a throw, right? Rob Gronkowski is in the middle of, like, five Broncos defenders, Tom Brady makes an off-balance throw by the goal line, and that's the recipe for a terrible terrible terrible terrible mistake. It's a mistake by Brady that the Seahawks and Chargers and Lions were able to take advantage of at different points of the year.
But sometimes everything just works out. The Broncos just weren't going to stop the Patriots. Gronk makes a miracle catch. I wish his barrel roll counted as a touchdown.
4. Amendola Improvisation
Speaking of off-balance throws by the goal line, how about this one? Good thing Danny Amendola was able to run towards the goal line and towards a wide open hole in the Jets defense so Brady could hit him.
I still can't get over the fact that Jordan Devey and Josh Kline were the guards in this game. With Ryan Wendell at center. Against the Jets freakishly strong defensive line. It's unbelievable that the Patriots interior was able to hold up against that talent.
Although I guess that explains why Brady had to make this throw out of the pocket and on the move.
